'Internal Server Error' 500 messege

  • Hi
Whenever I try to access my website from the admin account I get an error message.

I was attempting to solve an issue with our google result and now the website can be viewed but can’t be worked on.

Is there anything you can suggest or assist with either of these issues?

    Thanks :)

    Hello there,

Thank you for getting in touch.

    Let me ask something:

    1. Could you please describe what action you took so it led error?
    2. Have you check the correctness of .htaccess file inside root folder where the WP files be installed and wp-admin folder?

At the meantime, It seems you still able to access WP dashboard through here.

    Hi Thanks for your reply,

I don’t fully understand your first question. I found the .htaccess file, but don’t know how to check for correctness. and for some reason the link you provided at the end takes me to the same error page after logging in. I have attached a screen shot of the page below.

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
    # END WordPress
